If you're interested in purchasing one, please click on the "contact" link on the bottom and send me a note. Many of these pieces still need a home. I can usually work out a deal that is fair for both of us.

"If certain things happened, said half the papers, ruin stared us in the face. If those things did not happen said the other half, ruin stared us in the face"  - H.M Tomlinson

(from the "The Sea and the Jungle")

Welcome to the new improved version of Bryce Berggren.com. Many thanks are due to Ken Robbins for his help in re- creating the site. I'm very thankfull for his patience and friendship. By clicking on the "site credit" words at the bottom a link to his information can be obtained.

One of the many updates on the site is the use of words (what a breakthrough!), specifically a blog and news space.  In the past I was reticent about assigning even basic words to the site for fear of "explaining away" the paintings.  In this information climate, where you can go online and find out what your top 100 friends on facebook are eating for breakfast, the silence seemed refreshing.

Now It seems like time to try something new, and perhaps silence was equally about my own difficulties with language and it's imperfections. While certain aspects of the work are clear as mud to me, keen viewers will continue to have their own reactions, regardless of what a work means to me.

Another aspect of this site I'd like to highlight, in this long introduction, is the user's space to contribute.  Any feedback on the material of the site would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your Time,

                        Bryce Berggren
